After the Christmas period I can kind of call myself bankrupt. Luckily the SALE begun and besides that it’s actually not necessary to score a whole new outfit to shine on all the New Year receptions and other parties. Let’s mix and match with old and new!
Some people take a look in their closet, know what they want to buy to combine with something they already have, go shopping, find it and buy it. This doesn’t work for me. When I’m looking for a specific item, I almost never find it. So the only thing I hold in my mind when I go shopping, is that it should be a special item. This can be in the fabric, pattern or design used.
This time I ran into this beautiful velvet top with lace details. Velvet items, as suede, are very hot at the moment, and will give your outfit that little bit extra.
For New Years Eve I combined th top with my playsuit I bought a while ago. Bare legs might be a bit to cold in the Netherlands. You could wear it with beautiful tights or replace the playsuit for a jumpsuit. It’s really nice that you can also wear the top with jeans and high heels for a more cool, sexy look or with smart pants for a neat look.
For whatever look I go, my blazer by 8MM (Now on SALE @ Men at Work) suits always!
Already a perfect outfit in your closet, but still looking for a bag? Maybe this little bucket bag from H&M is something for you. It’s an eye-catcher, made of 100% suede and it has an inside zip pocket which is very important for me because I don’t want to keep an eye on my bag constantly. I want to dance, dance, dance!
Bucket bag from H&M // Velvet top from ZARA // Golden earrings by Frills from Men at Work. All available @ Entre Deux. Other jewelry by Vanilia (golden bracelet), Country road (little black and white bracelet) and Jenga (South African designer).
